This ensete growing very fast with a lot of water. It’s more upright & elegant than the species normal Ensete ventricosum. The leaves are slightly tougher than the species which makes them more wind tolerant. With a Lovely red midrid and a soft glaucous hue on the stem. The undersides of the leafs and the nerf from the huge leaves are red. An gorgeous huge plant. An ensete spieces dont produce any suckers. Propgation is only possible by issue culture or spitting the main stem. The best way is to cut the main stem back and bring it indoors in a cool spot. This spieces is absolutely not cold hardy. It is very very hard to get plants from this spieces.
