This ensete growing very fast with a lot of water. It’s an dwarf Ensete from Thailand. This Ensete lecongkietii has short glaucous leave bases with a fat round trunk. The short leafstalks makes it an dwarf. The leave midribs are below reddish and above yellow. It has also an huge red flower with an lot of small seeds. An gorgeous huge plant. An ensete spieces dont produce any suckers. Propgation is only possible by issue culture or spitting the main stem. The best way is to cut the main stem back and bring it indoors in a cool spot. This spieces is absolutely not cold hardy. It is very very hard to get plants from this spieces.
