Musa helens hybrid – Helen’s cold hardy banana

This frost hardy banana tree is a must for your garden. This spieces is a hybrid between Musa sikkimensis and Musa chini champa. The plants that get a lot of sun, the pseudostem turns green/white and the leaf stalks have a wax red color of the underside leaves. The leaves have beautifull red marks on the leaves. The fruits taste sweet delicious. A true ornamental plant. It grows in root clumps of very tall plants. This tree can grow up to 5 meters tall. Best for this specimen is to keep it in a container. The hardiness is similar to Musa sikkimensis or even better. You will receive a healthy plug plant.
