A populair spieces in Europe with hard stiff blue silver leaves. The Trachycarpus princeps is frost hardy and makes 4-5 leaves a year. Much slower than a Trachycarpus fortunei when they are young. But people select and choosing them for their very blueish and with underside leaves. Plant care is easy for this spieces but takes years for getting size from a seedling. A perfect plant for a small garden of container plant. Speed of growth once in the ground it can grow more than 30 cm (1 ft.) of trunk per year when they are bigger than one meters tall!
