This ensete is similar on Ensete maurelii. But this spieces makes more longer leaves. And it is more slender growing. This plant is very fast growing with a lot of water. In 5-6 years is it possible to flower. A big red flower will be produce in the center of the plant. The undersides of the leafs are red. An gorgeous huge plant. An ensete spieces dont produce any suckers. Propgation is only possible by Tissue culture. This spieces make rarely fruits. The best way is to cut the main stem back and bring it indoors in a cool spot. This spieces is absolutely not cold hardy.
